FLAG Signs on 100th Converter Member

Community of independent converters continues to grow and add capabilities

AMHERST, NH, October 7th, 2019 - FLAG (Flexo Label Advantage Group LLC) has reached a significant milestone with the addition of their 100th member: Adcraft Labels in Anaheim, California. Since the firm started in 2009, FLAG has retained over 90% of their Members by delivering savings and providing a growing list of value-added services.

Adcraft Labels was founded in 1977 when the call for high-quality flexographic printing for the demanding medical and electronic industries became evident. For over 30 years Adcraft has supplied other industries including health & beauty, personal care, pharmaceutical, nutritional, food, beverage, consumer goods, and security printing. They have won multiple awards for innovation, craftmanship and design. According to Ken Collins, Vice President, Adcraft Labels, “We’re very glad to partner with FLAG and look forward to the savings we’ll receive as well as the many resources to which we’ll now have access.”

According to John McKay, president and founder, “We’re thrilled that Adcraft Labels has recognized the power of the FLAG community and joined our organization. We strive to provide opportunities for companies like Adcraft Labels to be more competitive in the marketplace and become stronger without sacrificing independence.”

FLAG will celebrate its 100th member with a raffle at its upcoming Annual Meeting (October 16-17, 2019) in Rochester, New York. One attending member will have their meeting costs paid. Keynote presenters at the FLAG Annual meeting now include Greg Hrinya, Associate Editor, Label & Narrow Web, Ryan Jenkins, Internationally recognized speaker and trainer on millennials, Robin Blanchard, Consulting Associate for The Ken Blanchard Companies®, Brian Van De Water, CEO, SPL Consulting, and Paul Reilly, Partner, New Direction Partners.

The primary goal of FLAG is to deliver bottom-line savings to its Members on roll label substrates, inks, tooling, pre-press, digital, shipping and more. FLAG negotiates national vendor contracts, leveraging the buying power of all its label converter Members. These group savings incentives deliver bottom-line savings to its Members while providing sales opportunities to its Vendor Partners.

Additionally, FLAG group Members --with an average size of $2 to $20M -- realize the type of benefits usually enjoyed by larger multi-site converting conglomerates. These include catastrophic recovery plans, penetrating new markets and application niches, and having access to new resources. These benefits are delivered through a 24/7 online resource site, small peer groups, quarterly calls and an annual meeting.
