A Revolutionary Reinvention of Anilox Ink Transfer

Location revealed! All aboard for the EFIA Print Awards 2020!

The European Flexographic Industry Association (EFIA UK Ltd) has revealed the location of its next annual awards event on March 19, 2020. The ceremony is to be held at the National Railway Museum, York, and is on track to continue marking the awards as one of the most prized events in the flexo calendar.

The EFIA Print Awards 2020 Gala Dinner event once again celebrates the outstanding achievements of the flexographic industry in what has proved to be a turbulent economic and legislative environment. The event celebrates collective and individual successes along with the impressive advancements of the sector, providing a platform to highlight the companies and individuals that make such progress possible.

In March, businesses along the flexo supply chain will converge at the National Railway Museum for a chance to network and let off steam, while honouring the remarkable achievements of the industry. The museum pays tribute to the important landmark developments in public transportation, while celebrating the future and excellence in innovation, very much reflecting the values of the EFIA Print Awards, which seek to highlight the achievements of the industry while pointing to the future of the sector.

Neil Jones, Chairman of EFIA, commented: “After our 2019 event took place at the Concorde Conference Centre, it’s ‘planes, trains and automobiles’ once again for the EFIA Print Awards! For hundreds of years, trains have been the main arteries of contemporary industry, pushing progress - in this respect, sharing many parallels with flexo technology. We have selected this iconic location for the 2020 awards because we are looking for the award entries to stand-out, be memorable and exemplary and to reward those businesses that drive true sector progress.

“The flexo industry doesn't stay stationary for long and our annual awards event is aimed at showcasing the standard of print excellence that has been set in 2019. It's important that we keep track of the excellence in print quality, efficiency, innovation, technical development and sustainability that has been demonstrated through the past 12 months. In terms of the quality and innovation we see in entries, every year the bar is raised even higher. We expect 2020’s ceremony to be no different.”

Entries for the awards are now open and the deadline for submitting entries is January 17th, 2020.
