A Revolutionary Reinvention of Anilox Ink Transfer

What Makes Nickel Core Anilox Sleeves Better?

ARC International has a lot of truly satisfied fiberglass sleeve customers. But some have asked us for more: More dimensional integrity. More durability. More fluid changeovers. And we love a challenge. If not for frustrated flexographers, we wouldn't be here.

When a rigid, fiber/epoxy sleeve is expanded to slip on and off a mandrel, deterioration starts from day one. It still does a good job – as long as the slippage and vibration caused by eventual deterioration can be masked by your substrate. But film and foil are unforgiving.

The new NickelBackTM sleeve from ARC is manufactured with an electroformed nickel alloy core that will not corrode, rust, or delaminate. It needs less air pressure to expand for mounting, and always snaps back to size, no matter how many changeovers you do. At a cost comparable to fiberglass, ARC NickelBack sleeves are also engineered to be resurfaced many, many times.
