APR presents a two-day Flexo Fundamentals class for people that need to understand the basics of flexo.

Are you bringing on new people that are missing some of the fundamental knowledge you would like for them to have? We designed this two day Flexo Fundamentals class for our Innovation Center to address these specific requests.

Participants will leave with a clear understanding of the Flexo process, related terminology, press components, and prepress/platemaking/inkroom support functions. We will address common print defects and procedures for defect resolution. We will also introduce key differences and challenges in spot color, screen and process color printing. Breakout sessions will include making a plate, a LIVE narrow-web press run and demonstrations of ink maintenance and print analysis.
